Our People

Our first priority is our people. Across the Yum! enterprise, we believe in ALL people and remain committed to creating a people-first culture opportunity belonging is deeply embedded. Franchisees

We are dedicated to ensuring Yum!’s culture of belonging is amplified for our restaurant team members via our franchisee organizations through recruiting a wide spectrum of franchisees who represent the communities in which our brands operate. Franchisees are welcomed to Yum! and supported with a variety of programs, including:

  • The Yum! Center for Global Franchise Excellence at the University of Louisville (UofL) College of Business, educating and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs to advance the franchising industry, with intentional focus on increasing access and opportunity for all people to see pathways for themselves in franchise ownership.
  • “Leading Effectively Across Dimensions” experiences for Restaurant General Managers by 2025 across franchise-owned restaurants.

In partnership with our exclusive supply chain management organization, Restaurant Supply Chain Solutions, Yum! seeks to increase the pipeline of suppliers from across the industry, leading to an ecosystem of innovation and competition.
