Stakeholder Engagement
Our key stakeholders include employees, customers, franchisees, shareholders, suppliers, non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and communities. We follow a process for identifying, prioritizing and engaging with stakeholders on a range of issues that aligns with our materiality assessment in addition to a number of other factors such as brand alignment, potential impact, risk mitigation and shared values.
We aim to be as inclusive as possible, listening to a wide range of perspectives through engagements that include materiality assessments conducted every several years, listening sessions on key topics regular collaboration on joint projects and annual surveys. As part of our materiality assessment process, we engage both internal and external stakeholders to understand their perspectives on key topics. Participants share input based on their experience and areas of expertise.
