ESG Strategy & Governance
We’re passionate about feeding a future with more purpose through our people, food and planet. To do so, it requires strategic focus in the areas that matter most to our business, strong leadership and governance throughout our organization and transparency with our stakeholders, including employees, customers, franchisees, shareholders and communities.
Stakeholder Engagement
We take a holistic approach to stakeholder engagement. This starts with a process for identifying, prioritizing and engaging with stakeholders on issues identified through our materiality assessment. Engagement varies from one-time discussions to regular interaction while working on joint projects that help create strategy and programming. We aim to be as inclusive as possible in this engagement, listening to many points of view from both supportive and critical voices.
Reporting & Materiality
Regular reporting is the primary way we share our progress and show transparency around our environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices. In addition to publishing our annual Global Citizenship & Sustainability Report, we participate in other voluntary disclosures including CDP and the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index. We also complete materiality assessments on a regular basis, most recently conducting our first double materiality assessment.
