At Yum!, KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill, we lead with smart, heart and courage. This mindset helps us forge ahead when faced with challenges, and that’s especially true with the COVID-19 pandemic.
We’re witnessing so many examples in which our people are developing innovative solutions, supporting those in need and braving each day in an uncertain environment. Each week, we’ll share a few of them with you in hopes that they’ll inspire you to lead with smart, heart and courage in your area of the world.
Today, we recognize:
Several KFC U.S. restaurants for using Drive-Thru Payment Handles, which keep team members and customers safe through contactless transactions.
The Habit Burger Grill for joining the Safe Passage Youth Foundation, Conejo Recreation & Park District, the Red Cross and Art Trek to feed over 600 kids in Thousand Oaks, California.
Pizza Hut META Test Kitchen Head Francis Cahiga for raising funds to create over 100 bags full of "hope, love and kindness" for those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
KFC Russia for hosting more than 250 online mentoring sessions for 100-plus groups of orphaned teens across the country. Employees, volunteers and local celebrities like Pyatnitsa TV host Igor Lantratov and chemist-perfumer Anna Agurina educated participants about COVID-19 preventative measures and shared personal stories about their careers in hopes of inspiring the next generation.
