At Yum!, KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill, we lead with smart, heart and courage. This mindset helps us forge ahead when faced with challenges, and that’s especially true with the COVID-19 pandemic.
We’re witnessing so many examples in which our people are developing innovative solutions, supporting those in need and braving each day in an uncertain environment. Each week, we’ll share a few of them with you in hopes that they’ll inspire you to lead with smart, heart and courage in your area of the world.
Today, we recognize:
Three-time Taco Bell Live Más Scholar Joshua Payne who organized the student-led COVID-19 Response Innovation Lab, which aims to improve systems, structures and societies and provide both immediate and long-term solutions for the effects of the pandemic.
Pizza Hut U.S. and its nonprofit partner First Book for distributing over 300,000 books for kids in need through its Read & Feed program. Dr. Alexie Puran, an emergency room physician in New York City, wrote this thank-you letter to the program organizers.
KFC U.S. for bringing families together on Mother's Day through a virtual Facebook experience.
