Today, 3BL Media named Yum! Brands to its 100 Best Corporate Citizens list. The recognition demonstrates the continued commitment of KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill to being good corporate stewards and showing progress through ongoing public reporting and disclosure.

“We’re pleased to be recognized on 3BL Media’s 100 Best Corporate Citizens list for our solid progress building socially responsible brands that people trust and enjoy,” said Jerilan Greene, Yum! chief communications and public affairs officer. “Wherever we operate around the world, we are committed to being a positive force for good for our people, communities, food and planet."

Yum!’s purpose is to unlock potential for both growth and good with customers, employees, shareholders and communities. That’s why, earlier this year, the company brought together its business strategy, called the Recipe for Growth, and its citizenship and sustainability strategy, called the Recipe for Good. Creating a combined Recipe for Growth and Good provides even more intentionality when it comes to advancing the company’s purpose. Yum! Brands’ global citizenship and sustainability strategy has three priority focus areas including people, food and planet, and is focused on socially responsible growth and better managing risks.

Beginning in 1999, the 100 Best Corporate Citizens ranking has recognized the environmental, social and governance (ESG) transparency and performance of the 1,000 largest publicly traded companies in the United States. The list highlights companies that have been evaluated on their publicly accessible information as it relates to 141 factors on employee relations, environment, climate change, stakeholders and society, human rights, ESG performance, governance and financial performance. View the full list of the 2020 companies here.
