KFC Implements Additional Health and Safety Measures in U.S. Restaurants

KFC U.S. is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on our operations. As we continue to prioritize the health and safety of our customers and team members, KFC is again implementing increased health and safety measures in restaurants in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Additional measures, which are rolling out rapidly across the U.S., include:

  • Supplying all restaurants with touch-free thermometers and implementing procedures to screen each team member for fever before they begin their shift;
  • Providing disposable face masks for team members, first prioritizing restaurants where they are required by local law, along with guidance to ensure they are used safely and effectively; and
  • Installing Plexiglas counter-top shields that provide an additional barrier between team members and customers in restaurants that are open for carryout or dine-in.

Throughout the pandemic in the US, KFC has continued to offer drive-thru, carryout, and delivery services, where available. We are offering free delivery through April 26, 2020 via and with Grubhub delivery orders, you can select the option for contact-free delivery at checkout so you have the safest experience possible. All delivery order packaging also uses tamper-evident seals so you know your food travels and arrives to you safely.

Whether we see you in our restaurants for drive thru or carry out (where available), or you choose home delivery, rest assured that once our fried chicken leaves the fryer, the only hands that touch it are your own.
