KFC HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES IN U.S. RESTAURANTS

Keeping with our people-first approach, KFC has continued to ensure our policies follow CDC guidelines to protect the health and safety of our customers and team members during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Masks are recommended for team members regardless of vaccination status. KFC and our franchisees will continue to provide masks as a part of the company uniform standard. 

We continue to reinforce our already strict sanitation, handwashing, and health and wellness policies for our employees.

Our Commitment to Guest Health and Safety Remains Unchanged

While we’ve made some changes to align with the latest CDC recommendations, other COVID safety protocols remain in place, these include:

  • Continuing our industry leading sanitization processes;
  • Providing face masks for team members, along with guidance to ensure they are used safely and effectively; and
  • Maintaining Plexiglas counter-top shields that provide an additional barrier between team members and customers in restaurants that are open for carryout or dine-in.
  • Requesting team members who feel sick to stay home
