(August 27, 2020) KFC announced the appointment of John Mays as director of equity and inclusion for KFC U.S. In this newly formed role, Mays will lead the development and implementation of KFC’s equity and inclusion vision and strategy to help position the brand as an industry leader across the United States.
(June 25, 2020) Today, Yum! Brands announced a $100 million commitment over the next five years toward unlocking opportunity for employees, frontline restaurant teams and communities across KFC and our sister companies, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and The Habit Burger Grill. This endeavor is intended to focus on equality with an emphasis on the key areas of equity and inclusion, education and entrepreneurship. We also committed to transparency to our customers and team members, so today we are sharing the next steps that KFC has begun to take.
