Working remotely during COVID-19
While our corporate employees enjoy half-day Fridays year-round (yes, really!), we’ve opted to work from home during the COVID-19 pandemic to keep everyone safe. Depending on their personality, our new hires find this virtual workplace to be exhilarating or merely tolerable. Our goal has always been to build a world with more Yum!, so we’re working extra hard to bring our culture to everyone’s computer screens through online happy hours, digital recognition for a job well done and regular face-to-face video calls with our Executive Team. We may be 6 feet apart, but we remain strongly connected during this time.
Your career with a world of possibilities!
My career has taken me from Canada to Thailand to the U.S. What I love about Yum! is the ability to work across not only different geographies, but also different functions. My experience in finance has taken me into general management and strategy, which has helped broaden my leadership skills and been rewarding both professionally and personally. It’s been an exciting journey and so great to see our great culture transcend across geographies – we are one big happy family in 145 countries and territories!”
Chief Operating Officer
of Yum! Digital and Technology
I was born in Cairo but call Louisville home. I started at Yum! as an HR and engineering intern in Kentucky, but have since worked in four continents, visited 10 countries and experienced cross functional assignments in 11 different roles within the business in nine years.
At Yum, everyone has a seat at the table, and I feel valued for who I am and what I bring to the team as well as encouraged to pursue my passions outside of work.”
KFC Delivery Lead

I love working for a global company that encourages all employees to be their best selves, make a difference and have fun! Over the past 10-plus years, I’ve been fortunate to have some incredible experiences through several different roles in Human Resources based in Louisville, Kentucky, Sydney, Australia, and, most recently, Plano, Texas.”
KFC Global Director, HR
Why would a Harvard grad and New York City lawyer return to Louisville, Kentucky? Yum! Brands is a fantastic company doing exciting, cutting edge things, that’s why! Also, Louisville is cool, y’all! There’s a foodie scene (ahem, Top Chef), the arts (NYC tests out its Broadway plays at our Humana Festival) and the largest privately held forest dedicated to education and conservation in the eastern United States. I am thrilled to call it home.”
