Erika Burkhardt
Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary, Yum! Brands
Erika Burkhardt is the Chief Legal Officer & Corporate Secretary of Yum! Brands, Inc. and reports to the Yum! Brands CEO. In this role, she oversees all of Yum!’s legal activities globally. Prior to her current role, Burkhardt served as Associate General Counsel for Yum! where she oversaw the Company’s trademark and employment law teams. She has been with Yum! since 2004, beginning as Pizza Hut U.S. Human Resources & Litigation Counsel and taking on a number of roles within the department before serving as VP, Brand Protection, where she had responsibility for the brand’s overall crisis and risk management. Prior to joining Yum!, Burkhardt practiced law at Baker Botts and Holland & Hart. She received her J.D. from Duke University Law School and bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
