Irvine RSC employees build STEAM Challenge Kits for kids

Taco Bell and Habit Burger & Grill employees recently built “STEAM Challenge Kits” for children in Orange County, California, with the Child Creativity Lab. 

The organization is dedicated to fostering the next generation of critical thinkers, problem solvers, innovators, leaders and environmental stewards through hands-on creativity-enhancing exploration of STEAM concepts using renewable materials. 

Volunteers formed an assembly line where they packaged recyclable materials such as cardboard tiles, zip ties, ribbon and more into plastic bags. These kits challenge children to use their imagination to build different objects with the provided materials. 

Once the bag was filled, volunteers used the bag sealer to seal and complete the kits.

After sealing a bag, volunteers handed the completed kit to a Child Creativity Lab employee, who compiled and tallied the kits. Irvine RSC employees were able to assemble hundreds of STEAM Challenge Kits!
