This Season Cricket Fans Cheer with KFC

For the first time ever, KFC Australia opened 12 KFC outlets at Cricket Stadiums across the country during the Cricket World Cup which drew a crowd of 90,000 fans at its opening game. The World Cup introduced the opportunity to provide great quality product and service to Cricket fans in a stadium setting. The new KFC outlets have the opportunity to reach over 700,000 spectators at the stadiums over 20 games. The menu for these outlets include all-time KFC favorites such as Popcorn Chicken, Kentucky and Zinger pies, chips and drinks. The first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup where cricket goers were able to have the KFC experience was on Saturday, February 14 for England vs Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The KFC outlets served nearly 20,000 fans during the opening game and expect to continue to serve many more throughout the season!
