Sustainable building innovation is a key part of our E3 Initiative – Energy, Environment and Economics. We’re focused on developing green building solutions that meet the bottom line objectives of people, planet and profits. Taking a holistic design approach lets us look at all aspects of our buildings and endeavors to test technologies and approaches in experimental buildings. Green buildings focus on the core areas of energy savings, water conservation, site sensitivity, sensible material use and environments for people. We have developed a streamlined roadmap called Blueline for our restaurants to achieve LEED certification. It uses restaurant relevant aspects of LEED and provides specific, actionable solutions tested in our foundational green buildings.
