Community Diversity is a Commitment to Both Our People and Our Customers
We realize that putting a YUM on people's faces goes far beyond serving our delicious food the world over. In fact, when it comes to being a world-class organization, we know our relationship with the people in the communities we serve needs to be as diverse as our menus. Yum! Brands partners with several minority and women's organizations to build excitement for our brands. Through our community partnerships, our diversity initiatives assist us in leveraging and promoting community involvement, along with franchise, supplier, and employment diversity as essential ingredients in our continued business growth.
We are proud to demonstrate our "Customer Mania" philosophy by supporting local and national organizations such as: American Indian College Fund, League of United Latin American Citizens, MultiCultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance, NAACP, National Council of LaRaza, National Urban League, Organization of Chinese Americans, and the Women's Foodservice Forum. View our full listing of sponsored national community organizations.
We're also walking the talk of community service with programs like Pizza Hut's BOOK IT!, Taco Bell's TEENSupreme, KFC's Colonel's Kids, and Yum! Foundation's hunger relief efforts, to help build stronger families in our communities. Through these community efforts, thousands of children and young people have increased their reading abilities, learned the importance of leadership and giving back to their community, received extended daycare, and have not gone to bed hungry.
