LONG JOHN SILVER'S MAKES $25,000 DONATION TO AID AFRICAN-AMERICAN STUDENTS

LOUISVILLE, KY (April 7, 2004) - Long John Silver's president Steve Davis recently presented a $25,000 check to the Tom Joyner Foundation, which supports African-American college students. The check represents the first two months' donation to the Foundation, based on sales of the Tom Joyner Platter at LJS restaurants. The check was presented in March at a Tom Joyner "Sky Show" in Richmond, Va.

Long John Silver's is supporting African-American college students throughout 2004 through sales of the Tom Joyner Platter. The goal is to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
