Statement on Minimum Wage

April 2, 2015

KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut create 200,000 new employment opportunities in the U.S. each year. We currently pay employees above the applicable minimum wage on average at our 2,000 company-owned restaurants. We will remain competitive with our wages to attract and retain the best talent. We are proud that over 80% of our Restaurant General Managers began as hourly workers and now earn salaries oftentimes in excess of the average American household incomes and have built their careers with us.
