David C. Novak

Executive Chairman
Yum! Brands, Inc.

David C. Novak became Executive Chairman of Yum! Brands on January 1, 2015. Novak leads Yum!’s Board of Directors and supports the Company’s CEO, on corporate strategy, innovative business and brand building ideas along with leadership development. During his tenure with the Company, Yum! Brands doubled in size to 41,000 restaurants and established itself as a global powerhouse going from approximately 20 percent of its profits coming from outside the United States in 1997 to nearly 70 percent in 2014, while remaining an industry leader in return on invested capital. In so doing, Yum! Brands’ compound annual shareholder return has been 16% and its market capitalization has grown to nearly $32 billion from just over $4 billion. Prior to leading Yum! Brands, Novak was President at both KFC and Pizza Hut, and held senior management positions at Pepsi-Cola Company, including Chief Operating Officer, and Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales.

Novak is on the board of directors of the World Food Program USA. Additionally, he is a member of The Business Council and The American Society for Corporate Executives, while also devoting considerable personal support to the United Nations World Food Programme and Dare to Care Food Bank hunger relief. In the spring, he will receive the prestigious 2015 Horatio Alger Award for his commitment to philanthropy and higher education and become a lifetime member of the Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans. He is a recipient of the 2012 UN World Food Program Leadership Award for Yum! Brands World Hunger Relief effort that raises awareness, volunteerism and funds to address this global problem. He is also the recipient of the national 2008 Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship.

Greg Creed

Greg Creed became Chief Executive Officer of Yum! Brands on January 1, 2015 and a Director of the Board in November 2014. He reports to the Company’s Executive Chairman, David Novak. Creed leads the Company’s overarching strategies, structure, people development and culture that will drive sales and profitability at all of its businesses worldwide. All YUM functional leaders and divisions report to Creed, a 20-year veteran with the Company. Creed has more than 30 years of extensive experience in marketing and operations with leading packaged goods and restaurant brands. Previously, Creed was head of Taco Bell, the nation's leading Mexican-style quick service restaurant chain that serves more than 36 million customers each week in nearly 6,000 restaurants in the U.S. He was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Taco Bell in early 2011 after serving as President and Chief Concept Officer and was responsible for driving overall brand strategy and performance of the business in the U.S. and internationally. He has held various roles with the Company including Chief Marketing Officer at Taco Bell where he spearheaded the “Think Outside the Bun” campaign and new product introductions that generated strong sales and profit growth for five consecutive years, as well as Chief Operating Officer for Yum! where he created a people-focused leadership approach for global operations and led the strategic development for Taco Bell International.

Sam Su

Vice Chairman, Yum! Brands, Inc.
Chairman and CEO, Yum! Restaurants China

Jing-Shyh “Sam” Su became Chairman and CEO of Yum! Restaurants China in May 2010, maintaining his position as Vice Chairman of the Board at Yum! Brands, reporting directly to the Company’s CEO. Su had previously served as President of the China Division since 1997. Yum! Brands is focused on building leading brands in China in every significant category. Yum! is the leading retail developer in China with more than 6,700 restaurants in over 1,000 cities. KFC is the number one foreign brand in China with more than 4,800 restaurants in over 1,000 cities. Pizza Hut is the number one Western casual dining brand in China with more than 1,300 restaurants in over 350 cities and over 250 Pizza Hut Home Service units. Yum! opened more than 700 new units in China in 2014 and expects to open 700 new units in 2015.

Jonathan Blum

Senior Vice President, Chief Public Affairs and Global Nutrition Officer
Yum! Brands, Inc.

Jonathan Blum is Senior Vice President, Chief Public Affairs and Global Nutrition Officer for Yum! Brands, Inc. He reports to the CEO and serves on the Company’s Disclosure and Compliance Oversight Committees and is Vice Chairman of the Yum! Foundation. His global portfolio includes public policy issues management, internal and external communications, corporate social responsibility, community diversity, nutrition, government affairs, community relations and philanthropy. Jonathan was Vice President of Public Affairs for Taco Bell Corp. before PepsiCo spun-off its restaurant companies in 1997.

Anne Byerlein

Chief People Officer

Anne Byerlein is Chief People Officer for Yum! Brands Inc. and reports to the CEO. She is responsible for global Human Resources, which include field and Restaurant Support Center recruiting, staffing, compensation, benefits, people development and training. Also falling under her umbrella are employee relations, diversity and inclusion, safety, security, facilities and aviation for all Yum! divisions. Prior to assuming her current role in late 2002, Byerlein was Chief People Officer for KFC and Vice President of Human Resources for Yum!, roles she held concurrent with one another. Previously, she was Vice President of Corporate Human Resources for PepsiCo, a position she held prior to the creation of Tricon Global Restaurants, Inc., (later changed to Yum! Brands, Inc.) in 1997.

Christian L. Campbell

Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary and Chief Franchise Policy Officer
Yum! Brands, Inc.

Chris Campbell is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Secretary and Chief Franchise Policy Officer for Yum! Brands, Inc. and reports to the CEO. In this role, Campbell oversees all legal activities of the company and he is responsible for the oversight of the company's purchasing as a Director of the Company's purchasing cooperative with its franchisees, and for the administration and coordination of franchise policies. Campbell joined Yum! Brands, Inc. from Owens Corning, where he held the titles Senior Vice President and General Counsel. He holds a Bachelor and Masters degree in economics from Northwestern University (1972), and a law degree from Harvard Law School (1975). In addition, he completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School in 1992. He also serves on numerous professional boards.

Niren Chaudhary

Yum! Restaurants India

Niren Chaudhary is the President of Yum! Restaurants India and reports directly to Yum! Brands CEO. Chaudhary was named President of Yum! Restaurants India in December 2011. Under Chaudhary’s supervision each of the brands has seen tremendous growth. KFC is the fastest growing quick service restaurant chain in India and has been voted as one of Top 5 “Most Trusted Food Service Brands” and “Most Admired Food Service Retailer”. Pizza Hut has been voted “Most Trusted Food Service Brand in India” for the seventh year and is the only restaurant company to be placed in the Top 20 Service Brands list by The Economic Times of India. Chaudhary was also instrumental in bringing Taco Bell to India. He has more than two decades of experience of which he has spent over a decade working at Yum! Brands in various positions. Prior to this, he was the General Manager of KFC Netherlands & Germany. Chaudhary has also been the Operations Director of Pizza Hut and KFC India. Prior to joining Yum! Brands, he worked with Tata Administrative Service from 1986 to 1994.

Roger Eaton

President, KFC
Chief Operations Officer, Yum! Brands, Inc.

Roger Eaton became President of the KFC division on January 1, 2014, while continuing to serve as Chief Operations Officer of Yum!, a position he has held since late 2011. Eaton oversees KFC’s business in the Middle East, Thailand, Asia FBU (Franchise Business Unit), Latin America and Caribbean and Canada. He dually reports to Yum! Brands’ CEO and KFC’s CEO. Eaton has also served as Chief Executive Officer of KFC U.S. after serving as President of KFC Corporation. He is an international restaurant industry veteran and has been with Yum! Brands for 20 years. Prior to his roles at KFC U.S., Eaton was Chief Operating and Development Officer for Yum! Brands. He has also served as Senior Vice President/Managing Director of Yum! Restaurants International South Pacific (SOPAC). Earlier in his career, he was Regional Operations Director of KFC SOPAC, General Manager of KFC New Zealand and Finance Director of KFC SOPAC. Under his leadership, SOPAC had 27 consecutive quarters of profitable same store sales growth, as well as consistent above target new restaurant builds.

Larry Gathof

Vice President and Treasurer

Larry Gathof is Vice President and Treasurer for Yum! Brands, Inc. In this role, Larry leads the Treasury function including risk management and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to assuming his current responsibilities, Larry was Vice President of Corporate Planning and Mergers and Acquisitions. Larry has 17 years of finance experience with Yum! including roles in strategic planning, investor relations and shared services. Prior to joining Yum!, Larry held various finance roles with a Global consumers goods company with a primary focus in international planning and control.

David Gibbs

Chief Executive Officer

David Gibbs became CEO of the Pizza Hut division on January 1, 2015, and reports directly to Yum! Brands’ CEO, Greg Creed. In his new role, Gibbs will continue to drive growth of Pizza Hut, the world’s largest pizza restaurant company with more than 13,000 restaurants outside of the China and India divisions. Reporting to Gibbs are the leaders of the global Pizza Hut operations, human resources, marketing and food innovation, development, finance, technology, legal functions as well as the functional leaders of Pizza Hut U.S.

Gibbs has held a variety of roles at Yum! and its predecessor companies since he joined in 1989, including development, real estate, finance, and engineering positions. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Pizza Hut US from 2006 to 2010 before transitioning to a global role as President and Chief Financial Officer of Yum! Restaurants International. In that capacity, he was responsible for growing the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell brands in approximately 125 countries. Most notably, Gibbs was President of Pizza Hut US, overseeing the brand’s 6,000+ restaurants across the United States prior to assuming the role of CEO.

Before joining Yum!, Gibbs worked for Salomon Brothers in New York City in their mortgage-backed bond trading department. David is a graduate of the Whiting School of Engineering at Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Applied Mathematics and has an M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Patrick Grismer

Chief Financial Officer
Yum! Brands, Inc.

Pat Grismer was appointed Chief Financial Officer for Yum! Brands in May 2012 after serving as Chief Planning & Control Officer. He reports directly to the CEO. Previously, he served in a series of domestic and international finance positions, including CFO at Yum! Restaurants International (YRI), Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Investor Relations, Chief Financial Officer of Pizza Hut (UK), Vice President of Planning at YRI, and Senior Director of Finance at Taco Bell. Prior to joining Yum! Brands, Grismer spent ten years at The Walt Disney Company in a series of finance executive positions and was also a senior consultant at Price Waterhouse. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and CPA certification in the State of California.

Brian Niccol

Brian Niccol became CEO of the Taco Bell division on January 1, 2015, and reports directly to Yum! Brands’ CEO, Greg Creed. In his new role, Niccol is responsible for driving overall brand strategy and performance of the business in the U.S. and internationally. He is accountable for doubling the business by 2022, going from $7 billion to $14 billion in revenue and opening 2,000 new restaurants.

Niccol joined Taco Bell in 2011 and previously served as President of Taco Bell from 2013-2014, where under his leadership, Taco Bell successfully launched breakfast, the fastest growing daypart in the industry, as well as mobile ordering and payment. He also put a renewed focus on brand relevance through digital, social, mobile technology and a people-centric culture. Niccol was promoted to President in 2013 after repositioning the brand from food as fuel to food as experience in his role as Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer (CMIO). As CMIO, Niccol introduced the Live Más tagline, the breakthrough Doritos Locos Tacos, and fresh new products including the game-changing Cantina Power menu.

Prior to his positions at Taco Bell, he joined Pizza Hut in late 2005 as Vice President of Strategy. During his tenure at Pizza Hut, Niccol also served as CMO, where he led the brand strategy and positioning that achieved record transactions and market share and as General Manager for Pizza Hut, Inc., where he managed the brand and led an organization of nearly 16,000 people in more than 6,000 restaurants. Additionally, he opened a new digital/mobile access mode that generated over a half billion dollars in sales.

Before joining Pizza Hut, Niccol spent 10 years in various brand management positions at Procter & Gamble. Niccol holds an undergraduate degree from Miami University (OH) and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Niccol serves as Chairman of the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens and serves on the Board of Governors for the Boys & Girls Club of America.

Micky Pant

Chief Executive Officer

Micky Pant became CEO of the KFC division on January 1, 2014, and reports directly to Yum! Brands’ CEO. Pant brings his global knowledge and strategic expertise to KFC, one of the fastest growing retail brands in the world with more than 14,000 restaurants around the world, excluding the China and India divisions. Reporting to Pant are the leaders of the KFC operations, human resources, marketing, development, finance, technology, legal functions, the president of the KFC division and general manager of KFC U.S. In his years with Yum!, Pant has held a number of leadership positions including CEO of YRI, President of Global Branding for Yum! Brands, President and Chief Marketing Officer for YRI, Global Chief Concept Officer for Yum! Brands and President of Taco Bell International. Before joining the Company, Pant built a foundation in marketing and international business with 15 years at Unilever in India and the UK and worked at PepsiCo and Reebok. While he was CMO, Reebok was the winner of two Golden Lion awards at the Cannes Film Festival, considered widely as the highest recognition in advertising. He was also recognized as the Interactive Marketer of the Year by Adweek magazine in 2003.

David Russell

Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller

David Russell was appointed Vice President, Finance and Corporate Controller of Yum! Brands, Inc. in December 2011. He has been Vice President, Corporate Controller since February 2011. David has over 20 years of finance and accounting experience. He has been with the Company for the past 16 years serving in various finance and accounting roles. Prior to his current role, David served as Vice President, Financial Planning and Controller-Designate. Previous positions at Yum! include Vice-President, Financial Planning, Vice-President and Assistant Controller and Senior Director, Finance.
